Lead Training

Congratulations to the first two members of the Mid Atlantic team to complete the Lead Safety Training. Luis R and Luis H. successfully completed a two day classroom Lead Abatement Workers class to qualify for licensing with the Commonwealth of Virginia. A job well done as our crews prepare to complete work on a BIG job in Virginia. "Thumbs Up - we are ready to go!"

Charleston, SC- Onsite Training

Special Training: IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life and Death) confined space rescue training. At Universal Painting we take safety very seriously. Here are our team members learning rescue training in house, in order to do their jobs as safely as possible.

SCBA Training

A onsite training session was coordinated by Devin Dixon to train the crew working in a confined space utilizing the SCBA. A self containing breathing apparatus is used in certain confined spaces. The crew was trained on proper fit, proper operation and all safety standards while wearing the SCBA.

Lakeland, Florida

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a 8 seater Safety Van for our Safety Director, Devin Dixon to utilize in the Safety Department. The purpose of the Safety Van nicknamed internally as "SAFETY SAM '' is to allow Devin to constantly be mobile, moving from jobsite to job sites safety teaching, training and educating our onsite crew members in a classroom setting. The van is equipped with an oversized TV screen to watch training videos, comfortable high back seating to allow our crews to come in off the job sites, be provided water for hydration and power bars for break nourishment. This environment provides a quiet place and allows our crews to be more attentive.
