Universal Painting Corporation/Universal Industrial Painting Coatings and Linings was founded in Lakeland, Florida in December 1992 and incorporated in January 1993 in the State of Florida. A privately held company owned and operated by its founder, John P. Aldrich is the oldest specialty painting contractor known under the same management & ownership specializing in the coatings of Water and Waste Water facilities. John has developed strong relationships in this industry built by his reputation, knowledge and a "team" approach which allows for expansion into geographical areas that expands along the eastern coastline of the United States.

Our company hired Universal Painting Corp. to work on the Daytona Internationals Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.We have had the pleasure to work with them under a very strict production schedule since November 2015 and I am pleased to say the work was completed on time for the Daytona 500 in February 2016.Furthermore, Universal Painting did such a good job keeping up with our demanding schedule that we tripled their painting contract. This enabled us to achieve a truly stunning result in our World Center of Racing. I'm being modest when I say that John saved the day.I have worked with many painters during my twenty years as a large heavy industrial construction manager and John exceeded our expectations. The project would not have been completed in such a short time frame with such success had it not been for John's willingness to take on extra work and his ability to coordinate with ISC and our General Contractor Barton Malow.I am pleased to recommend John Aldrich and his team on any similar projects and wish him continued success in the future.
